Fees & Investment

Starting therapy is an investmentnot just financially, but in your well-being, your relationships, and how you move through daily life.

Many clients choose private pay for greater consistency, flexibility, and depth of care — especially during seasons like postpartum or major life transitions.

Due to high demand, I currently have limited availability for new clients.

Session Rates

  • Individual Therapy
    $180 per 50-minute session
    Initial session/intake: $180

Many of the clients I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, constantly “on,” or unsure if they’re doing enough — especially in motherhood or high-responsibility roles.

Over time, they begin to feel:
    less mentally overwhelmed
    more confident in their decisions
    more present in their relationships
    more like themselves again

  • Couples Therapy
    $250 per 50-minute session
    $350 per 80-minute session

Therapy is not just about having a space to talk — it’s about feeling more grounded, supported, and clear in your day-to-day life.

Why Many Clients Choose Private Pay

Many of my clients choose private pay because they are looking for:

  • Specialized support in postpartum and working mom mental health

  • More consistent and personalized care

  • The ability to focus on what matters most—without limitations from insurance requirements

  • Greater privacy and flexibility

Therapy can be more effective when it’s tailored to you, rather than structured around insurance guidelines.

What Many Clients Begin to Notice

While everyone’s experience is different, many of the women I work with begin to notice:

  • feeling less mentally “on” all the time

  • being able to slow down without guilt

  • clearer, less self-critical thoughts

  • more patience and presence with their child or partner

  • feeling more like themselves again

Therapy doesn’t mean everything becomes perfect—
But it can start to feel more manageable.

A Note on Cost

It’s completely normal to pause when looking at therapy fees.

Many clients I work with initially felt unsure—wondering if it was the right time or if it would be worth it.

Over time, many shared that having consistent, focused support made a meaningful difference in how they felt day to day.

Insurance options

I am in-network with select insurance plans through Headway, including:

  • Aetna

  • United Healthcare (Optum).

  • Anthem (currently waitlisted — you’re still welcome to submit a 15-minute consultation request, and we can talk through options during our call)

Many clients choose private pay to avoid limitations set by insurance and to receive more consistent, personalized care.

For those with out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

Out-of-network reimbursement (Superbill)

If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed for a portion of each session after your deductible is met.

You can contact your insurance provider to ask:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What percentage is reimbursed per session?
• What is my deductible?

Sliding scale

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available based on financial need.

If this is something you’d like to explore, you’re welcome to mention it during your consultation, and we can discuss current availability.

How to Decide If This Is Right for You

This may be a good fit if:

  • You’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike yourself for a while

  • You’re navigating postpartum changes or the transition into motherhood

  • You want more consistent, personalized support

  • You’re ready to have a space that’s fully yours

If you’re unsure, that’s okay.

You don’t have to decide everything right now.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this might be a good time to take that first step — especially as availability is currently limited.

Good Faith Estimate
(No Surprises Act)

Under federal law, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of therapy. You will receive this information clearly and transparently at the start of care.

Cancellation Policy

Therapy time is intentionally reserved for each client.
To ensure consistency and availability, please provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Missed sessions or late cancellations are charged the full session fee.

Start with a Small Step

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

The next step can simply be a conversation.

A 15-minute consultation gives you a chance to:

  • ask questions

  • share what’s been going on

see if this feels like the right fit

We can talk through what you’re looking for and see if this feels like the right next step for you.
